SSC Recruitment 2014 – Jr Hindi Translator, Sr/ Jr Translator & Hindi Pradhyapak Posts: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for the recruitment of Jr Hindi Translator, Sr/ Jr Translator & Hindi Pradhyapak Posts by conducting Ministry of Defence Examination, 2014. SSC Vacancy Details:
Names of Posts:
1. Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices)
2. Senior Translator (Ministry of Defence)
3. Junior Translator (Ministry of Defence)
4. Hindi Pradhyapak (Central Hindi Training Institute)

Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 30 years as on 01-01-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/OBC/ PH/ EXS candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English/ Hindi with Hindi/ English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level for Sl No 1 and Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional or as a language paper for Sl No 4 and Master’s degree of a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level for Sl No 2 & 3.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) stamps available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and get canceled at the concerned post office, issued with the date stamp. Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage and no fee for women/ SC/ ST/ EXS candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on written examination and interview.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply in prescribed format along with attach photocopies of relevant Testimonials/ Certificates, Paste your recent photograph of size 4cm x 5cm and sign in running hand (No Capital Letters) on the application in provided space and submit to the concerned Regional Office of the Commission (refer notification) on or before 18-04-2014 by 5:00 PM and 25-04-2014 by 5:00 PM for candidates in remote areas. Only a single application will be entertained for a candidate.

Last Date for Submission of Application: 18-04-2014 by 5:00 PM.
Last Date for Receipt of Application for candidates in Remote areas: 25-04-2014 by 5:00 PM.
Date of Written Examination: 08-06-2014.
