The preliminary written examination for recruitment of police constables
in Uttar Pradesh has been postponed after question papers were damaged
in a road mishap.
According to a statement issued by the UP Police Recruitment and
Promotion Board here today, in order to maintain sanctity of the
examination to be held on October 27, the written test has been
postponed.
The new date for the examination would be declared later.
