Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar has announced notification for the recruitment of 11783 Constable Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 28-02-2014 (Friday). CSBC Bihar Police Vacancy Details:
Number of Vacancies: 11783
Name of Post: Constable
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 and 23 years. For OBC Male candidates age be must be between 18 and 25 years, for OBC Females age must be below 18 and 26 years and for reserved category candidates age must be between 18 and 28 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2014. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent.
Application Fee: General/ BC/ OBC applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 200/- and Reserved candidates must pay Rs.75/- at the Head Post Offices in Bihar and must obtain the application form.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Physical Fitness Test.
How to Apply: Candidates need to obtain application format available in the post offices at Bihar, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it to the following address, Secretary, Central Selection Board (Constable recruitment), Back Harding Road, Patna-800001 by Registered or Speed post on or before 28-02-2014 (Friday).
Important Dates:
Starting Date for availability of Application Form: 21-01-2014 (Tuesday).
Last Date for Submission of Application: 28-02-2014 (Friday).

SSC to Hold Re-Examination at Identified Centers
Staff Selection Commission conducted Combined Graduate Level Examination 2013 (Tier I) on April 21,
2013 and May 19, 2013. The Tier-II Exam was held on September 29, 2013. There have been reports of
use of unfair means at a number of centres identified by investigation agency in Tier I and II.
Keeping in view the sanctity of the Examination, interest of the candidates and the investigation report
received from Delhi Police it has been decided by the Government to hold re-examination of Tier-I and II at
identified centres from where reports of use of unfair means has been received. The list of these centres will
be placed on the Commission’s website (www.ssc.nic.in) shortly. Age relaxation, where required would be
permitted to appear for re-examination.
